I paid the bills!
Charles received his refund yesterday and I immediatley paid all of the bills that were due. I even paid the auto insurance for the rest of the year (this is actually just until September when it is renewed). I also paid for our registration for Good Vibrations. I am so excited to be going to California. With the exception of an emergency trip in 2002 ( I was there and back in 24 hours), I havent been there since I was nine. We took a trip to Costco to store food for unemployment time (Claire says we are Chipmunks and storing food for winter like Alvin). I bought a new pots and pans set. Stainless Steel ( I love it). The dog got a new bed for her to lay on. (Side note-her xrays yesterday said she is ok-no tendons torn on her knee). Charles forfitted new glasses and boots to pay for his air compressor with 3 in 1 tool kit that he wanted. It comes with a hammer, stapler and brad nailer. He loves it. Claire doesnt like the loud noise it makes, so while he warmed it up, we took a trip to the dollar store for balloons. When we got back, he showed her how it can blow up balloons for her to play with. Among the things at the dollar store that we bought, were four cans of silly string. We had a great silly string battle. Kal was upset when his was all gone. I explained that for a dollar a can, it was worth it and we can get more. I have pictures of that and our four hour playday at the childrens museum. I will post those when I have more time. Tomorrow, I will be able to order new parts for the trampoline so that the kids can be jumping again soon. They miss it so much. I am so relieved to have some things taken care of for this month. Now, if one of us can just get employment, we should be ok.

Congrats!!!
I'm changing this sentence for you- from: "Now, if one of us can just get employment, we should be ok."
to: "Now when one of us gets employment we WILL be ok."
I know we will be fine. I think that moving might help the employment thing, even though everyone is hurting in the welding industry. There are just even less jobs here than in Seattle.
