party time
I have thought out this party that we are planning and now I decided that we are not going to barbeque because I dont want poor Charles who will only be home for the weekend to stand in front of a hot grill on a hot day. So, we are changing to sandwiches. I am going to load up my platter with meats, cheeses, veggies, dips, chips, breads, rolls and garnishments for people to come and make the food the way they like. Not only is it going to be cheaper with no propane running, but I can go to Costco or Urm for large amounts of food (including condiments) and still keep the cost really down. Also, we can live on the leftovers easier. I can make salads and baked ziti with garlic bread. I will make our 5 gallon jug of lemonade and have soda on hand for people that would like it. Of course, there will be cake. I am also thinking about making rootbeer floats for those that would like them. I love planning and giving partys where I can feed people. And the funny thing is that the birthday boy and girl will probably eat the least amount of food out of everyone. Now I just need to get started on entertainment for everyone.
