Our local library has an awesome video/dvd section in the kids area and when I took the girls to scouts Monday night I hit it up for some great past videos. The kids love watching movies and shows that I watched when I was younger. Kyle and Claire see these guys on Saturday mornings at 7. So, I found the movie and now we can watch whenever.
This little girl and all of her friends are on right after Care Bears. Of course, its the NEW animated series and not the classic one like I found on video.
And last but definatley not least and definatley my favorite..HEMAN. Who can resist a guy in a loincloth riding a tiger while fighting the forces of evil. We laugh at how very dated the animation is. Everything from the way the characters are placed when they are talking to each other to the very cool lessons that are pointed out to you at the end of the episode. Kalel pointed out how HEMAN and Adam look exactly alike but only three people shared his secret. How the weapons were so strong or weak that they either beat the other person with one hit or broke into a pile of crap, depending on the episode.
The only other guy who has got anything on HEMAN is Dar. Also known as the Beastmaster.
I have loved Marc Singer since 1983. Like I said you know "Loin cloth, fighting bad guys" how can you go wrong with him. especially since he could talk to animals as Dar. He is one of our favorite SciFi actors. Next, I am going to get this one for the kids to watch and then I think we might move on to .... classic 80's movies. We already saw Bill and Ted and the Breakfast Club in Nov. Now if I can just find my HeMan action figures the kids could play with them.
