Ten things we like about Tricities

Ok. and since I posted about Jersey, I figured it is only fair that I post what i like about here.
1. The houses here are not built so close together that the neighbors can see you dressing. Back home they usually are very close to each other.

2. The librarys here are huge compared to back home and a great book selection and you can even rent movies.

3. There is a wide variety of sports available for either very low prices or free to the kids.

4. Supercenter walmart-when we lived in Jersey, we didnt have a supercenter, just a regular walmart.

5. Lower cost of living-everything from rent to clothing is lower in cost here.

6. The homeschooling community here is larger and there is more to offer to the kids here then back home.

7. In our town, we have halloween trick or treating in two areas. In the afternoon, it is downtown and at night in the mall. Back home it is trick or treat in your own neighborhood. (not a bad thing but one place is easier).

8. Pump your own gas-In Jersey (just like Oregon) it is illegal to pump your own and so you have to wait for someone to do it for you which takes forever. Ugghhh....

9. Less traffic- I dont care what city or area you are from, the traffic is always worse in Jersey.

10. And the one thing that all of my kids and I love about Tricities-We are close enough to the Life Is Good conference to drive in one day...Tada...
