What we have been up to

Since we have been home, we enjoyed Grandma being with us for a couple of weeks. Claire has really learned quite a few new words and phrases while having lengthy conversations with gma. I came back to the last few weeks of the quarter and finished up well with a 3.6 in medical terminology and a 4.0 in my office orientation class (the class that I had Mary sign a volunteer time sheet for me at Life Is Good). Thanks Mary. Ky has been missing the conference pretty bad. He keeps asking to go back. If you look back at the post from last year after the conference, I said pretty much the same thing. I need to try to get to an area where there are other unschoolers. Not such an easy feet with only one vehicle now. Kalel has created two new characters on WoW. One is a hunter and one is a mage. I am ready to create a character on Wow. I am just not sure yet which one I will choose. Charles let me buy a new computer last night. Just tower with keyboard and mouse. I have a printer new in box ready to set up and a monitor from the other computer. The processor died on it and I just couldnt save it. I did save my files though. I always back up. Tori asked me to find her a new girl scout troop. Her previous one just eventually died out and they dont have enough girls to be a troop. She still has horses on Mondays. Kal decided to do nothing this summer. He usually does at least one sport. But for the first time in 6 years, he only wants to game. Oh yeah, I got an email from Blizzard that Kal was breaking the rules on the game and so we had to have a talk reminding him that everyone can see what he is doing on the internet and he is being watched. There are just certain things he cannot do or say on the game. Thank god they just gave the account a warning but next time they may freeze it. Ugh..that would be a mess. Everyones characters on the same account. Kyle choose to try soccer again this year. Last year he went to the first practice and decided after ten minutes he wanted to leave and not go back that season. So, this time he really kinda suprised me when he said he wants to try again. Tori also decided to change things up and try tennis. Usually Kal does tennis and soccer, so I guess they a taking turns which is fine with me. Less running around and with the price of gas being so crazy high. I am taking one class this summer but it is only offered online, so not a whole lot of campus time this summer. I will go back to more classes in the fall. I was able to get an opportunity grant from the college to pay for summer classes. And they will continue to pay up to 45 credits earned. Fun Summer ahead. hopefully we will be able to get out of the area to travel a bit.
