I never do memes on here, mostly due to lack of time and the neverending requests for cutting paper when I am sitting at my desk. So, I was reading Ronnies post at Blog of the ZombiePrincess and so I am doing this one.
What is outside my front door: Our fenced in front yard with lots of bikes, boards, ride on car, doggy toys, a dirt area Charles made for playing in, half the streets mailboxes all in a row, our across the street neighbors huge trees, a big red dilapidated barn to the right of our property where lots of cats live.
What is on my mind: Food shopping, feeding lunch to whoever is hungry, what time Charles might get home, this week is the last week of class, the fair next week, taking a trip next March/April, not wanting to do laundry but needing too, money.
Things I am thankful for right now: Love and living, having freedom to make our own choices, my family and friends, having a vacation gifted to us to go to Florida, a free college degree, good job for Charles in his field.
What I am reading: I was reading Talk to Children so they will listen and listen so they will talk, but I seem to have misplaced it and havent really looked hard to find it. I am also reading a couple of travel books on a budget. We will drive across the country and am looking to save lots of money.
Goings on inside the house: Kalel is playing Wow across the room from me, Tori is trying to watch the Olympics (while going in and out to jump on the trampoline) and Kyle is standing in front of the t.v. when she is in and following her outside when she is out, and Claire is alternating between sitting on my desk and cutting paper and eating ice cream at the table.
What I am listening to: WoW battle ground, springs going up and down with the jumping, and Kyle and Claire's little voices in conversation.
What I want: Clean laundry without actually doing it; to eat the meatballs I just made but they are too hot to put in my mouth; to spend some time together with Charles and the kids later; to go to the grocery store by myself to get some quiet time.
Things I'm creating: I am actually not very much of a creater lately. Noone has asked me to help them create anything today. I made pancakes for dinner last night, but today I havent created anything. I am not artsy anywhere but in the kitchen. I was thinking about creating an Italian hotdog for lunch. I created some tables and reports for my online class during the week.
Things from the kitchen: I had Charles fill the five gallon jug with lemonade so it could be there when the kids are hungry and i dont want to make kool-aid. I went to the farmers market this morning with KY and Claire and we picked up apple bread, tomatoes, corn on the cob, potatoes. On the way back to the van, we stopped at the bakery and picked up some donuts and cookies to eat for everyone. I need to go to the store to get more food. I am not sure yet what we will do about dinner. I was also thinking about making a white chocolate cheesecake.
What I have planned for today: When Charles gets home, I will go food shopping, do some more dishes, laundry, and clean the living room some. Then, tonight I will watch the Olympics with whoever wants to watch.
What I have planned for this week: I may or may not take Tori to tennis (depends if she wants to go), horse lessons for Tori Monday night, Last week of my class for summer quarter, buy bracelets for Tori and Kal to ride the fair rides unlimited, Tuesday morning Ky gets his stitches out, and probably do some cleaning each day. I am also looking into reorganizing our closet.
Some current favorites: Having our freedom to change our minds every hour of the day (we usually do stuff spontaneously), pandora radio (it SO ROCKS!), Big Brother (I am so addicted), and blogging.

As someone who's not so creative in the kitchen, I read about your food with awe. I'm good with words, sometimes cloth, lots of times paper, but cooking takes effort and head-hurting thought, and I'm a perfectionist so I avoid...
Your busy life sounds fun!
So fun to read these! Thanks for linking back!
